is over at last
and from the hilltop
my arm, strained back and
~flingring a spin: freezing air humms
and a perfect arc through scritchbranches
to softland in seven years of leaflitter mossbeds

SLJ 2001? beautifully caught arc through freezing air, and perfect suggestive finale,

Yes, the present is always forgotten for now and leftfor future archaeologists to care about.

Oh you do bring me back to the late 90s and the high life at college. You remind me of skiving off work at Somerfields to get on Time Team (my left arm was on TV and my photo in a book). As a qualified archaeologist i am awash with remininsenses…so much so the spelling escapes me.

The present…maybe we do not know what we have until the archaeologists digs it up and calls it ritualistic.

and maybe a legend will be born. Beautiful Ebby. I have deshivered and come back with a smile at your poetic loveliness. Love you. xxxxxxxxxxx
